Which Motorized Skylight Shades Work Best on Ceiling Windows?
It’s important to be careful with ceiling window treatments because some coverings are too heavy. We recommend cellular shades because they’re lighter and come in an incomparable variety of sizes and fabrics.

Hunter Douglas Cellular Skylight Shades

How Do Motorized Skylight Shades Work?
Adding Hunter Douglas PowerView® Automation to skylight shades is an excellent option because you won’t have to stand on a stool or chair whenever you need to adjust them. In fact, you won’t even need to get up out of your bed!
This system uses a hidden motor located within the window treatments. It can be connected to a remote control, app, or smart-home system. From there, you only need to push a button, touch the app, or tell the skylight shades what to do. You can even program PowerView® Automation to open, close, and adjust your shades at certain times of day.
